At first, I thought this was a strange idea, picking whatever age you might like to be on your birthday. But then, my slow light came on, and I realized that birthdays are memories and dreams, not an age. A young child might dream of what they might be at an older age and an adult could think back on lots of years and experiences.

What you get out of this book from all the above ruminations are cute illustrations and something even more important…the chance to talk with your kids. Maybe this is more of a subject book than a reading book. I can see several things you can discuss with your child and to me that makes a book invaluable.
