A Friend for Hope by Amie WhiteMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Even now, I remember being lonely as a child. I was an only child like Zoe in this book. I worked hard on my school work and tried to please my parents just like Zoe. Sometimes though, the warmth and devotion of a pet can solve everything.
This is a delightful book. Easy to read to a child with its large font and adorable illustrations. The kind of illustrations that your younger child could almost make up another story with when you have tired of reading the book as many times as a child usually asks you to read the same book :)
There’s the chance for education talk here as well as the opportunity to talk with your child about feelings. We always want to take that kind of moment every chance we get. Even better while reading a book!
