My Review...
Somewhat overwhelming, this is a strong book about World War
2 and maybe even more focused on the horrors the Jews had to bear during that
time.
I said this was hard to read because even though this is fiction, there are a lot of
truths here, and to this day they should still be something we hate to even
think about. Not something we shouldn’t know about, but something we don’t like
to think about because we never wish it to happen again. The lives of the
people touched here tell a very realistic story.
In the midst of this is a love story. One that is ripped
apart during the war. You will live much history here and feel every possible
emotion, and you won’t be able to stop til you know the ending.
