my review...

Nothing ever turns out exactly as we want it, and nothing is perfect. Sometimes when we try to plan and control, well...you know what happens then. Our plans go down the toilet:) That’s what happens to Ava in this book. Too much planning and too many perfect pictures. Sort of like the ridiculous “my wedding” scrapbooks we put together back in home economics. I think Ava thought she could have her high-falutin’ fiancĂ© and everything she’d pictured. Tim, her fiancĂ©, had a completely different picture in his little “wedding book”.

If you have read my reviews, you will have seen me write that romance is not necessarily one of my favorite genres. Maybe you’ve seen it enough to want me to STOP saying it. Except, I’m pretty plain-spoken. Nothing has changed concerning my feeling about the romance genre, but I certainly did enjoy this book. It’s as funny as it is romantic. Definitely a comedic romance. It has characters you can laugh with and enjoy and sometimes your heart will be right there with Ava.

Anyway, this is a feel-good type read. Something to make you smile. So...enjoy.

W S Carmichael also has other books published. All have good reviews.
