My Review...
Really a fun read. Fun characters too. I began to love this cozy
just because of the quaint village and the
people too. The descriptions of both made everything very visual for me. It’s
true this story has what I call the necessary elements of a cozy. You know, your
amateur sleuth moving from the busy world to a small village, an inherited
property, and a dead body of course.
I love cozies. They are a breath of fresh air. Only so many
murders; only so much blood shed but this story has a little more depth than
some. This book’s characters aren’t just all a little quirky in a cute village.
There are problems. The real-life kind. It all makes for a good read.
This is Book 1 in a series titled “Motts Cold Case Mystery”.
I most certainly hope there’s a Book 2 soon.
Dahlia Donovan wrote her first romance series after a crazy dream about shifters and damsels in distress. She prefers irreverent humour and unconventional characters.
